Piedmont
Community College will begin its Certified Production Technician (CPT) training
with a required orientation class, “Orientation to CPT Training,” on Thursday,
Feb. 2. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays through Feb. 28. Classes
will be held from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. at PCC’s Workforce Training Center,
303 S. Morgan St., Roxboro.
Individuals
will receive training in basic computer skills and study and test-taking skills
and will have an opportunity to earn their North Carolina Career Readiness
Certificate. This course is required for anyone planning to take the Certified
Production Technician (CPT) Training course, beginning in March.
