Distance Learning Classes
School at Home!
Distance learning classes allow students to take classes around their own schedule.
Telecourses allow students to watch lectures and discussions on PBS or videocassettes. Tests are administered in the Learning Resources Center on either the Person or Caswell Campus.
Internet classes are offered over the Internet. The web serves as the classroom; tests are given via the Internet or in either Learning Resources Center.
Do you work odd hours or have too many family obligations to take classes? Distance learning classes will let you take classes around your schedule. Want to see that psychology lecture at 5 a.m.? Pop in a videocassette. Need to study that history outline on Greek culture again? Pull it up on the web!
Ask your advisor about distance learning opportunities that are available from both the Caswell and Person campuses.
